  My 8 mth pregnant daughter, my older daughter and myself planned a mother/daughter night out. I called Saltgrass Steak House and spoke
  with Adam. I did the "Call Ahead" and said we would be there in 45
  minutes. Mr. Adam said, "No problem." I asked if he wanted my name
  and he said, "No. We will have a table, no problem." My daughters and I
  arrived at 5:30 p.m. (45 minutes later). The couple ahead of me was handed a beeping device and told it would be 20 to 30 minutes. I then
  walked up to the three women standing behind the stand, informed I
  had spoke to Adam and did the "Call Ahead." They handed me a beeping
  device and said it would be 20 to 30 minutes. I explained again that
  I had called ahead and that I had spoke to Adam. I was then told the
  table will be ready in 20 to 30 minutes, sorry for the inconvenience.
  I asked to speak with Adam and the lady said that Adam was a hourly
  employee and no, I cannot speak with him. I then asked if there was
  a Call Ahead at this restaurant and could I speak with a Manager.
  The lady in the middle said she was a manager, no I could not speak
  with anyone else and again, the table will be 20 to 30 minutes. I was
  so angry, for we had plans in 1 hour scheduled, we sat for a couple
  of minutes and left!!!!!!!!! The lady, manager, had a smile on her face but
  was scarcastic and not nice!!!!! They did nothing to try and accommodate
  or fix their mistake! My husband and I have gift certificates to this restaurant, not sure what I will do with them, but I really never want to
  deal with them again.

  This was my first visit and I'm pretty my last. We came for lunch on break and we were late getting because the food took forever. Then we did get it we were not impressed. We ordered the sirloin cooked medium. It came out med well and extremely bland. We also ordered the ribs and shrimp. The shrimp were fine, but the ribs were burnt to a crisp. Our server was ok despite the fact that he never told us his name. Overall this dining experience was a waste of time. I'm definitely going to Outback next time.
